Nice place, plenty of space & good food, reasonably priced. Pleasant service. would've liked some veg with my main but that's personal taste. Hubby loved his parmesan & would give 5 stars.
Havent lived in Hartlepool for long but we love this bar. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food and cocktails are always delicious and it is dog friendly :
Bacon bloomer £4.95 shockingly expensive. No butter on the 2 slices of bread which had 2 slices of cold bacon. Main meal bland and cold. Service very slow.
The Black Olive was open as usual tonight, lacking atmosphere as expected,however, the staff make up for this, just by being upbeat and cheerful, really enjoyed my time there this evening.
Staff were great about precautions in place, were effective. Table cleaning on vacation was superb
