This is a great place for taking a walk. It's approx 2.5 mile from the car park to the control point and the road continues beyond that still. On a good day the views are amazing towards hills in the North, beyond the forth and the pentlands and tinto in the south. Because its a windfarm, traffic is very low on what is otherwise a great road. There are sode tracks to explore. It is very exposed so inclement weather can make a walk here more challenging. Be aware there is livestock in the fields if you walk your dogs here.
I've lived in climpy all my life and it's always nice to wake up and go to sleep with that sight
Was worth it. Loved scrolling through the pics.
