Stayed here for one night. Really lovely room and spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast supplied and a good variety of teas and coffees in the room too. Some really fabulous little touches. Check in was really easy and the young man that showed us our room explained how the electric blinds, coffee machine etc all worked. Unfortunately didn't get to eat in the pub but if we need to stay in the area again, I would definitely give it a go. Would most certainly stay here again. Great little find.
Excellent restaurant serving lovely food. The staff were attentive but not over-attentive and the meal was a surprise for my wife's birthday. A card was at the table on arrival and a plate of fruits and sweet nibbles was provided at the end. All-in-all, an excellent experience.Food: 5/5
First time dining at The Black Horse & what a lovely experience we all had for our Christmas lunch. Food was amazing and even catered to our needs for a member being dairy free. All staff were very welcoming & our table host was great at his job, well done Marc. Thank you all & we will definitely be returning again. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of choice for different dietary requirements.
Booked for 2nd December as birthday, made to feel special, card at table, platter of chocolate treats and fruit berries at dessert. The staff are brilliant from start to finish of meal experience, the food exceptional, every course was delicious in taste and presentation......... you have got it right guys, setting, service, food and staff....... very happy customer, hoping to return very, very soon .... Thank you Parking: Christmas party season, parking a bit difficult.
We went for Sunday lunch at 3pm. Very nice place, nice and clean. Food was ok, meat was tasty and well cooked and the veggies were nice. Yorkshire pudding was a little dry and could of been sat around for a little while and the same could be said about the roast potatoes. Will go back again to maybe try an earlier time, to see if there's any difference next time
Spoke with Darren regarding a booking he was so helpful, friendly and professional. The food looks great and we are looking froward to our visit, will update once been for a meal but it's nice to know they are very approachable and welcoming.
As always, we were impressed with their food, service and soap smells lovely!!. I try to go here at least 5 times a year, would love to go more but unfortunately my health isn’t particularly great. Always treated with respect when I have to sadly explain my dietary needs, never a problem for them though Looking forward to going again for my 2nd visit this year in a couple of weeks.
I don't go here my son works there. He brings food home sometimes and it's always nice. And the tips are great so the service must be good. And they're always busy so that's a good sign tooFood: 4/5

We had a very good Sunday Lunch here yesterday l had a lovely game Terrine and my Husband had the slow cooked Brisket as a starter could be a main as well both were good l had Roast Beef and all the trimming glad l only had a piece of fruit for Breakfast lots of roasted veg and 3 Green ones my Husband had a special dish with Halibut we did do Dessert both were very good booked to come again in early February with my Brother and Siste in Law we have been coming since 2000 so not as often as we would like as we live 16miles away but highly recommend it plus big one for me Toilets are spotless
