Had a lovely evening meal here as part of our visit to the area. The food was excellent and the portion size was very good, and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this place and may well visit again this week

Really enjoyable meal. Food is quite salty though. People around are so super friendly. We had the mushroom risotto and meatball linguini.

This delightful inn is outstanding.  The staff are very attentive.  This is the best steak I have had since leaving the Army!!!. A nice beer garden at rear. Highly recommend.

A great pub in the centre of town, warm and cosy setting, friendly people with great food. Had my first pheasant and absolutely enjoyed it. Reasonably priced and good portion size.  Strongly recommend it. Will be visiting again !

Very accommodating....food good. Had local beer...not to my personal taste but I had option to choose mainstream beer. Landlord and staff as friendly as any in the area. Premises clean and welcoming.

Had the beetroot and chickpea burger with slaw which was delicious. Definitely recommend. Staff was very friendly and kept their distance but unfortunately wasn’t wearing any masks.

As we are under extreme pressure at the moment with covivid. The food was superb, The staff made us Very welcome. Will be going back sooner than later.

Very nice home cooked food and it's great to talk to the Chef too. His Scotch Egg starter is awesome!!!!! The landlord and landlady are very nice and good to chat
