Having read the other reviews they are using the same story for not delivering. Family emergency, stock not in. Paid for 24 hour delivery, five days later another excuse why they can’t deliver. I am out of pocket having to cancel a kitchen fitter twice by £250. Can’t believe any company would want to use them. I am just about to cancel my order. This company is a disgrace.
Useless. BJS sent me a barrage of correspondence prior to delivery, providing me with a delivery date and with a 3 hour time window. I dutifully filled in the form they provided, giving my mobile number, confirming where I lived etc etc. On D Day, I received WhatsApp, Text and email messages telling me my delivery was in transit. Of course, having waited in all morning, and half hour after my delivery time was due, I received a further message saying due to unforeseen delays my time slot had now been moved back. Their website said they were open.. so rang them to try and obtain an update - however, the recorded msg said they were shut! Also sent both a txt msg and 2 whats app msg's asking for an update on their new ETA. No answers received...contrary to their web info suggesting customers to get in touch if there was a problem. No contact received from drivers... so sat at home wasting a whole day. Delays happen.. I understand and accept that... but despite a ton of correspondence from BJS, it proved impossible to get in touch with them. Hopeless. Not Good. Update: received call from drivers around 16.00 5 hours past original delivery time saying they would arrive shortly. Very difficult to blame them - they looked shattered and still had a ton of stuff to deliver. Got the distinct impression they were overworked and underpaid...problem seems to be as usual further up the chain of command.
Very bad delivery experience; they offered me a delivery time window on a workday; I had to cancel all of my activities and remain at home. They sent me an email informing me that their car broke down five minutes before the delivery window ended in the evening. They have squandered my day by sitting at home in order to get a bed delivered.
Terrible company, changed my delivery date the day before after it had been confirmed twice and I'd rearranged my week. Then sent me a curt message saying I had called them and changed it! I had never been in contact with them, so missed my furniture, wasted day off, 2.5 hrs trying to rearrange and a unhelpful person repeatedly telling me it was too late to deliver on the day which had been arranged and confirmed and speaking to me like I was a complete idiot. I had to remind them I was a customer and they had messed up not me. Would avoid retailers using them
Delivery went absolutely fine and the staff were amazing - put together the items really swiftly. Polite, on time, cleared away all empty cardboard. Kept up to date each step of the way with delivery - superb service. Ordered via The Cotswold Company and delivered to The Highands by BJS Distribution.
