Gorgeous setting and food. We had the pick and mix, 3 dishes each which was plenty for us and all delicious. The afternoon tea looks amazing too. Friendly staff. Lots of photo opportunities in this lovely place too. Will be returning when I'm not driving so can sample some of the many cocktails.
A unique place with a floral aesthetic filled with colourful nooks and instagrammable decor. The bench afternoon teas had a wide selection of savoury and sweet food and the cocktails were delicious, if a little sweet. The staff were attentive and polite. Well be going back!Food: 5/5
We visited and had afternoon tea & cocktails & a few other drinks. The service was very good, fast and friendly. The afternoon tea was huge and delicious but not for the faint-hearted as we had a whole weeks cholesterol and sugar in 1 sitting. Cocktails were good too.
Such a creative and fun concept. My friend and I travelled over 3 hours from London to Nantwich as we'd come across the festive afternoon tea on Insta and it was SO WORTH THE DRIVE! Amazing food, brilliant service and a lively but relaxed setting. Highly recommend. Only wish we lived closer so I could return for more
My friends and i attended this place for a birthday celebration. It was very busy to start with. We had booked a table outside. We got seated, our waitress eventually came and asked if we would like to order drinks. We ordered them and it took nearly 20 mins for the drinks to arrive! At the point of delivering them, she then took our food order. The food came pretty quickly, it was tasty and was well presented. The waitress did not return to check if everything was OK with the food and again we were left sitting with empty glasses. Eventually, we managed to order another round with another long wait. This happen again on the 3rd round of drinks. When we did receive the drinks, they were tasty and well presented. Although on the gummy bear cocktail they had ran out of gummy bear sweets, on the candyfloss cosmopolitan, I didn't get any candyfloss and on a Bench cocktail, they forgot my prosecco shot! Our time at the table was coming to any end, we thought we could get another drink in, we waiting for the waitress to come round...which she didn't! We still had dirty plates where they didn't clear the table completely after our meal. One of us when in to ask if someone was going to come and take an order. Not long after, the waitress turned up and took our order, we expressed to her that we would need to leave in 30 mins and so would need the drinks pretty quickly. We waited and waited...nothing!!! It had been another 20 mins, at this point the bar wasn't even busy as most people had left to go to the festival. So I went to the bar and ask where the drinks are? The woman I spoke to said someone would get to us. She didn't ask where we were sitting or what drinks we had ordered! They eventually turned up and with the bill, as I had requested. But no-one came for us to pay for the bill, so again off to the bar we popped to pay!! Overall, food was great no complaints, it was delicious. But unfortunately they need more waitress and bar staff. The turn over between ordering a drink and getting it is terrible. We could of easily drank a lot more.
Absolutely lovely, cocktails are so nice but expensive. You need to book ahead for food and reserve a table. Fab choice on the menu. When you order a drink they add it to an automatic tab for the table so it is easy to loose count and run up a big bill. Outdoor seating area is so nice, you forget where you are.
Amazing food, cocktails, atmosphere, music and staff! 3 friends and I visited bench bistro for food and cocktails last night - the food was absolutely delicious. One of our group members has a severe nut allergy and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate and make sure the food was safe. The atmosphere and music was perfect. The staff were polite, friendly and service speed was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that I'll be booking again very soon!

We visited Bench Bistro on Saturday night and we had a great time. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and it felt very safe and 'Covid secure'. The range of cocktails and small dishes on the menu was brilliant. We opted for a 'Bench cocktail bench' pictures and also enjoyed a long island iced teapot. The venue itself is great, very nicely done up with plenty of photo opps! Special shout out to our waitress Molly for being particularly brilliant and looking after us all night. 5 stars would definitely recommend.
Lovely bright place and plenty of choice. Friendly service. You do have to pick each thing you want e.g scampi is just scampi you also need to order chips if you want them. Parking: It is a small car park at the back of the restaurant but every time I've been I've always been about to park.
