A disused quarry which has become a fantastic scenic nature reserve. The quarry has become overgrown with rare species of plant, and is a quite place for a pleasant and relaxing day out. When I visited last there was an abundance of butterflies, and I had a great time exploring the different levels of the site. The nature reserve is part of a network of footpaths, which you can explore after you have exhausted the site. It is important to note that visitors with physical disabilities may have difficulty navigating the site given its multi-levek nature and many routes incorporating steps. Overall a lovely place to visit on when the weather is pleasant.

Great place for a walk in the woods and through the old quarry.

This disused quarry is now a site of special scientific interest due to its underlying magnesian limestone which defines the flora and fauna found there. There are a handful of free parking spaces outside the main entrance, and usually at least one is available to use as the place itself is almost never busy.
