It is a lovely church for Orthodox people. This is the first time I have attended this church and it was absolutely packed, very little consideration for Covid, but they seemed to have a system in place, which was one way entry system... I think it kind of helped. It was quite nice and pretty inside. I might come again at a less busy period.
I been here when the father Grecu Sorin was still alive, was amazing how he was talking and explain to us. Since he passed away is hard to get back, I found another church near me
For 10 years it's been the house of my heart due to Father Sorin Paul! May God rest him in peace ! Beautiful Church!
I am very disappointed by the way they organise their Easter mass at midnight. Last night I came home but couldn't go home as there was chaos on all the roads as worshippers had just parked their cars anywhere they wished including on main road Katherine rd, also blocking people's driveways, and parked on footpaths blocking ways for pedestrians and even disabled people. The church is in residential area so it should acknowledge and organise it in a proper and controlled manner by informing police and council about their event. I think there must have been around 8 to 10,000 people attending the service so one can imagine the impact it can have on the residents in the area. After all no religion would allow to trouble any human being living surrounding the place of worship. Also prayers go on loudly even at 2am which disturbs people sleeping. I think the church organisers should read the rules before doing the prayers so loudly especially as late as 2 am.
Great spiritual place for Orthodox people or for anyone who wants to pray, light a candle or get close to God.
Beautiful church, splitting the liturgy between the Greek Orthodox and Romanian Orthodox. A very lovely and peaceful place.
Wonderful location, tight to access it, small ish parking, wonderful 10 stars priest thank you for your support.
