The most diverse mosque I have visited…people from all Nations are here to pray and socialize. Beautiful
A majestic Mosque in Birmingham, it's the biggest Mosque for Muslims living around Birmingham and the Midlands. Loved the interiorVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
I recently visited Birmingham Central Mosque and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I was able to participate in a guided tour of the mosque which was both informative and interesting. The mosque itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture and intricate details throughout. It's clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into the design and upkeep of the building. During my visit, I also had the opportunity to attend a prayer service and was struck by the sense of community and inclusivity that was present. It was clear that the mosque is a central hub for the local Muslim community, and I felt privileged to be able to witness this firsthand. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Birmingham Central Mosque to anyone interested in learning more about Islam or simply wanting to appreciate the beauty of this important cultural landmark. The staff are fantastic, the building is breathtaking, and the sense of community is truly inspiring.
Beautiful Masjid in the Centre of Birmingham. Large capacity, which is due to be more accessible after the new extension opens. The only issue is that it falls in CAZ. Which has discouraged many drivers from attending the Masjid.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Firstly, I would like to commend the mosque for its excellent organization of daily prayers and the engaging Friday sermons. The community iftars during Ramadan were particularly heartwarming and well-coordinated. The efforts of the volunteers do not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Mosque in itself is perfect. The decision makers or the trustees need accountability. Why are we spending millions on extensions when the mosque spaces were adequate. Seems a race to the bottom for masjids unfortunately. Otherwise it's all good. Go read and leave peacefullyVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Very unclean, and masjid staff were super pushy for donations in a recent funeral I attended, the man came in the women's section and was very pushy when asking for bucket donations, the family were clearly upset, but he said stop what you're doing and take the bucket around for him, I found this very insensitive. I understand mosques need funding, but this method will push people away.
I have visited the central mosque last week with a year1 class. Presentation and tour of the mosque by sister Nasreen was absolutely fantastic!! She was welcoming and made the group feel at home. The knowledge about Islam was delivered outstanding!! Thank you!!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
The beautiful mosque in Birmingham captivates with its stunning architectural design, blending traditional Islamic elements with modern aesthetics. Its intricate domes and minarets stand as symbols of both faith and cultural heritage. Inside, the serene ambiance fosters contemplation and spiritual connection, while the community atmosphere promotes unity and inclusivity. A visit to this mosque offers not only a glimpse into Islamic tradition but also a moment of peace and reflection in the heart of the city.
Female prayer space was very small and outdated. Parking was a nightmare, and volunteers were not bothered about helping drivers. Parking needs to be sorted in order to serve the number of visitors without antagonising the local community.
