This can be the best and worse Doctors surgery depending on who you see. Telephone communications are abysmal. On more than one occasion I have tried to phone them up from home and have put them on hands free, driven to the surgery, waited in line and have spoken to a receptionist in person before getting anywhere on the phone and have let them listen to their own service from my phone.
Absolutely brilliant! I know people like to complain about surgery’s at the moment but I just can’t fault Miriam Medical Center one bit. I called up in the morning about 8:45 and was the first in the queue, it’s was answered within a few rings and they managed to give me a appointment for the next day as I asked for that day with no problem. When I went in the next day the staff was all very friendly and helpful and I felt very well looked after. Thank you very much to all the Team!
I ended up coming here after calling my normal GP for an urgent request to see a doctor. I saw a Nurse practitioner who after me explaining in full basically could not offer me anything at all to help me, she said she would put a note on my surgery for them to call me as they might be able to prescribe something. So I have ended up back were I started this morning. I got the clear feeling that I should have been seen by a doctor, not a nurse. Stiff baffled as to how I ended up not seeing a GP, which is what I did request, The staff and nurse were very nice but this does not help my pain. Poor
Staff were helpful and friendly. Dr. Matchell is an extremely good GP. Went above and beyond.
I’ve been a patient here for a number of years. Today I attended for a steroid injection. I feel very lucky to have such a fantastic service where I live. Any time I’ve contacted or visited the centre I have always found all the staff: receptionists, nurses, doctors really lovely and very professional. The range of services and long opening hours for some things are excellent. Thank you Dr. Mantgani and team.
I my mother had a really bad time at this centre not due to staff nurses but due to one doctor that has decided to reduce my mothers medication that has help her in past because he believes that it's causing pain to be worse than it is when I came to ask him to prescribe it he has decided to give me lecture about what he believes what's the medication is doing when I clearly knows that is help with pain he has said that he will not prescribed it due that he wants to "help with my mother chronic pain "
Look I know the NHS is on its knees behind a Tesco extra but this has to be the worst put together walk in I’ve ever been to. 3 hours sat lumped in with every other gp practice patient absolutely no order or organisation at all. Just go A&E I promise you’ll be quicker :
Just been on the phone for 32 minutes and 25 seconds trying to get someone just to pick up. Keep getting played annoying music and automated voice saying You are number blah blah blah in the queue. Need to book covid and flu jab for my mum who is in her 80's and has been seriously ill with pneumonia earlier in the year. It is just so stressful. I could not wait any longer as i have to leave for work, Why is it taking so long for someone to pick up? there must be more than one person working there and answering the phone. I feel utterly exhausted by the whole thing and am not impressed. What does it take to get some service these days???
Walk in centre is brilliant! Less than an hour to be seen, opposed to the 10 hour wait I had a few months ago in arrowe park!
