This place is amazing, I visit everytime that I am in the area. The staff and volunteers do a fantastic job caring for all of the feather babies until they find their forever home. Keep being your amazing selves and I shall visit soon and share the progress my feather baby has achieved x
Me and my daughter 6 love this place, so much work has gone into the birds housing over the past months, all the large parrots are in huge cages and all love a good chat when we visit, candy is our favourite she's a little Loud but makes a perfect human bowl movement impression haha. We bought a large small bird cage lots of accessories all second hand with 4 zebra finches. All the staff are ace and the site continues to improve on every visit. We'll see you all soon for more finch food.
Great staff, so caring and full of knowledge. Use them for my holiday boarding for both parrots. Very cheap compared to pet shops that I used yo use.
Wonderful rescue centre, birds are amazingly well cared for. Nigel birdman obviously has a passion for what he does and loves all his birds, both he and Jimmy are very professional, helpful, and friendly. Well done guys, those birds couldn't be in better hands
Absolutely amazing the birds are so well looked after. The staff are great always ready to help and answer any questions or queries you have especially Jim. What a fantastic job these guys do
Met Charlie the parrot today along with 4 of his human family. They made the trip to Macclesfield to say their final farewell to a dearly loved lady who loved parrots. Charlie was absolutely beautiful and behaved impeccably to the point I had him on my shoulder as I paged the funeral to the Crematorium Chapel. Charlie is definitely well cared for and loved by his human family. Thank you for bringing Charlie.
Great people, great birds.. And to top it off one of the cockatoos has the sweetest/softest "hi" I've heard.. Heart melted
What a fabulous place. The birds are extremely well cared for. Staff are 100% dedicated. At the same time its shocking how many birds are there. If you can't dedicate your life to your bird. DON'T get one.
All the staff were really helpful. I feel a lot less worried about leaving my parrot with them when I go away now
I am appalled this place is still open! If I could leave zero stars; this place needs shutting down immediately! It is an absolutely dreadful place for those wretched birds who are kept in ver small cages, crammed in, in a big dirty, dark shed with no human care and interaction. I have also heard that the bird man does dodgy deals; sells birds for large amounts of cash, which is Illegal as a “charity.” It’s just too much it’s unbelievable!
