Have been coming here for years generally good. But going on holiday in June and wanted to book in to ask about vaccinations I would need and book a tetanus injection as hadn't had one since 88 only to be told they don't do any of that and I would have to find somewhere else to get it all sorted as they didn't bother to renew their option to give these out. Was told they are a very big practice and there's more important things. I told them paston surgery does them and my partner is having hers done at her surgery in thorpe only to be told well you can always go join them if you want. Lovely patient service NOT.
If you had asked me last year what this doctor's surgery was like I would of told you it's carp and the doctor's don't listen to their patient's at all. But after my last appointment in January and had to take someone with me so that they could help me tell my doctor that I don't think he's listening and just bushing my illness off. After we had a good chat to him he said he's sorry and that I've just been lost in the system. I got diagnosed with Emphysema some time in 2017 and was ment to see my lung specialists every 6 month's, come 2019 and I had only seen him once in that time. I kept trying to tell him this but he would just brush it off. Until I went to my appointment in January and we had it out with him. Now we are all on the same page now with my doctor and he is listening to me at last. He's now chased up all my specialist and kicked them all in to gear now at last after 5-6 year's of this. I now feel like he's listening to me and want's to know everything that's going on with me from now on. So that's good at last as i feel like I'm getting somewhere and not just being ignored like before. The doctor's could be a lot more friendly and more welcoming. The nurses are top notch at this doctor's surgery and should be giving medal's as they are ace. The doctor's surgery is all way's nice and clean. The receptionist staff could be a lot more friendly too, but it depends who's on the reception as some of the staff on their are nice but not all of them. There's a nice waiting area for the patient's and kid's to wait in with lot's of seating and toy's for the kid's. There's a big car park for the patient's to park their car's who come by car so that's good. Making appointment's by phone is very, very hard. As they take a very long time to answer the phone if they even answer it at time's. Sometime's they get you to phone up after 1pm or 2pm to book an appointment, you do that and phone up on the dot at that time to be told there's none left. So what's the point in even phoning up at that time when they know they are booked out. It's the same when you try and phone up in the morning at 8am to get an appointment the phone just keep's ringing and no one answer's it. That's the worse thing about this doctor's surgery is they don't answer the phone. But all in all me and my family give it a five star all round *****
Once again spoken to horribly by receptionists , disgusting attitude given to me for no reason. It’s already a nerve racking thing to have to call the doctors for some people and to be spoken to rudely for no reason when finally reaching out for help is horrible . Do not recommend this surgery at all. Am very upset
My mother has now moved.Nearly died of sepsis due to Dr Gehir deciding not to see her after the paramedics advised it . Prescribed the same antibiotics that hadn't helped before and the tracking infection nearly killed her .
Not one appointment has ever resulted in help from any doctor in this practice, ever. They shouldn't even be in business.
