I arrived at this school full of hope and excitement, eager to adapt to my new surroundings. The staff could not have been more helpful in helping me and others integrate into the day to day life of school. In lessons the teachers try their best to teach and do a good job of it , but discipline sometimes lacks , for example i experienced the attacking of an Asian gang, of which there are many, on a boy just trying to do his work, punching and smacking etc. Now if this had happened at break time, it could be excused , but it happened in front of a teacher who did nothing to stop it. Speaking of students , many are clearly mentally ill in some psychotic and scary way, with many claiming to be armed to the teeth, or dealing drugs , or "bang ye fu'kin' lights out " if you even dare glance in their direction. Fights are a regular occurrence and it seems no-one really cares anymore , and bear in mind this is better than beckfoot and hazel beck. It is quite a daunting reality. I wouldn't recommend touching a previously worn school uniform with a long , drug covered stick , and dont get me started on 'turf war'.

In conclusion, unless you are an Asian gang member who knows mixed martial arts and has a cousin or two convicted of murder , please try and avoid this school. Oh and the facilities are mostly inadequate.
