Must do if you’re visiting Weymouth. Excellent food and service. Exceptional cocktails and view. Custom Gins and craft beers are super too. On our annual visit list. Don’t miss the crab cocktail tacos and the fresh oysters.
Lovely food and friendly service. Fab setting. Worth getting a seat inside the awning for the view and the service. Great place for sundowners. Crab tacos were delicious! A mixed crowd, couples, families and plenty of dogs too. Parking: Car park available, cam be very busy as is also beach parking. Dietary restrictions: GF options available
Lovely place for coffee and cake, delicious flavours, I had beetroot, orange and ginger. Staff are very friendly and ambience is great. Very clean and interesting toilets too. Thank you
Food was okay, service was quite slow. Restaurant was about 75% full and it took 45mins for the food to arrive. Prices are quite high for what you get, portions are on the small side. Great views.
What a fantastic place! Such a surprise from the outside, you can't imagine how much this place has to offer.. Really delicious, fresh food and great service, plus the benefit of the seaviews and private beach make it perfectly safe for children. We came back a second time for drinks and cake as well, and would definitely come back if we had more time!
Surpring little stop off at the end of a local walk, Rodwell trail, in Weymouth. A couple of miles towards Chesil beach. A nice cider on draught and little bit of lunch. Sat directly on the sea front. A little breezy even though 21° take a hoody! Food amazing!
Well we use to use Billy winters loads when it was smaller and had a different manager. But after a recent visit we won’t be going back. It has become very pricey lost its charm and become one of those get as many people in and out the doors as quick as possible. We waited over a hour for our food, most decent restaurants will make you aware when being seated if there is going to be a bit of a wait on food. Which if you know that’s fine. Then when food eventually turned up it was cold and soggy. The waiting stuff were very apologetic but it’s not great when they are charging premium prices. For example a pizza is £18.50 and tiny portion of fries are £3.75
Nice with absolutely amazing staff. There are only two unisex toilets though which meant a really long queue. After our meal we gave up and went over the road to a visitors centre. The food was also over priced but I imagine that was linked to the view. Vegetarian options: Beetroot burger was apparently nice.
I've had lots of meals here. The pizza is good and i had a lovely bubble and squeak last time but this time I opted for the crab tacos which were beautifully presented. Tasted ok. The truffle fries are good and a big enough portion to share. The mussels in white wine sauce smelt horrible but tasted ok. It's always good grub here and the service is attentive.
What a lovely find, beautiful location, free parking. We enjoyed our food and drinks and appreciated the free cake. We would recommend
