Delicious fish and chips! Crispy, well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Definitely recommend, wish there was ketchup available however the gravy was good :

Always a massive queue, which i understand as everything is cooked fresh. Staff are unfriendly, nobody smiles. Mini fish was just that..really tiny. The full size fish was nowhere near the size it used to be. Only eat here now if there's no other option.Food: 3/5
Grossly expensive. Only one veggie option, and since it's halloumi, it's never in stock. There's no excuse for a chip shop to be this bad at veggie options in 2023: you're ordering pukka pies anyway, and they make several vegan ones! Just very thoughtless, really. Vegetarian options: Only one, and always out of stock.

we have a caravan on the site next door... first time we had a takeaway was superb! and consequently advised visitors to our caravan Billy's was a recommendation!... never again will we reccomend.. we had a fish and chips, scampi and chips and 2x kids chicken nuggets... even the children said it wasn't nice... we arrived at 5.30, thinking we would get the best.. our chips were dreadful, soggy and lots of scraps.. and none of us enjoyed them very disappointed and very costly

Parking next to the amusement arcade down road past Talybont station towards beach. Turn left off beach road to get to fish n chip shop. Need to order as everything prepared after you order. Given pager which tells you when your order is ready to collect. Not huge portions and fish was slightly overbattered. Might be better to take the trip into Barmouth for your fish and chips.
Outrageously priced food for minimal food. I mean the price difference between chips cheese and beans and chips and beans is £1.70.. are you serving golden potatoes because it's nothing special?
Very nice chips but service is very slow. Everything is cooked to order, even when very busy at 7pm on Saturday eve. As a result I queued for 20 mins for 2 portions of chips!
