We stumbled across this place whilst walking through Sheffield - what a gem! The menu has a wide choice, meat, chicken, fish, veggie and some different drinks as well. I love the rustic yet cosy interior and the staff were brilliant.
I had a pink lemonade float - wonderful! and the BF had a Bills cider which he enjoyed.
I had the grilled lemon chicken and it was cooked to perfection as SO tasty. BF had the ribs and thoroughly enjoyed them. The portion sizes were just right.
We both had rhubarb with raspberry ginger cobbler and which chocolate sauce for desert and were unfortunately a little disappointed - it tasted nice but there were no raspberries and the sauce tasted like cream not white chocolate...if it wasn't for this then I would have scored them Excellent!
Note that they do add a 10% service charge onto the bill which I don't mind paying as I always leave at least 10% for good service and the service was great
A thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely be going again.
Also have a delicious looking breakfast menu which I'll be trying.
Prices are reasonable and definitely value for money

Visited this place for the first time with a friend of mine a few days ago. We arrived on a Saturday at 5pm, and had no problem getting a table. We had an evening meal there. What I like about it is that it is simple and unpretentious; yet cosy, attractive, relaxed, and classy enough that you could comfortably go there on a date. The food is nice, and the service was exemplary. The waiting staff were all polite, friendly, smiling and unhurried, and struck the right balance between being attentive enough but not overly attentive. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because personally I would have liked larger portions. Even after having a starter and a main course, I still felt hungry, but on balance, worth a visit!

Wow wow and double wow. Hands down THE best burger iv ever had!!!!

Had never been to bills before but will certainly be going as often as possible from now on. 

Always a good sign if your asked "how would you like your burger cooked"?
"Rare if you please" ha ha ha. 

Friendly staff warming atmosphere great wine selection. Perfect!!!

Very friendly staff, nicely spaced out tables. Nicely furnished and easily able to cater for seating for two persons or groups upto 20. Reasonable prices for both food and drinks. Food was delicious and was served reasonably quickly. I would recommend Bills for a family occasion or even work event.
