I asked Lee if he could put some more gears on my winter bike, it’s about 7 years old. We looked at how much a new bike would cost, by doing my older bike up, well it has been so worth it. Lee is amazing, he has replaced all the components to add meany more gears ! It is everything I ask for and more!!! The bike is fantastic, it rides like my summer bike not quite as good but 100% better. Lee is fantastic and knowledgeable, and offers a first class service five stars Anybody thinking of buying a new bike from Lee at bike-it, I 100% recommended Lee and his team Because I have been buying all my bikes from Lee for years Thanks Lee
We went to the shop yesterday on the off chance of them selling a bmx, anyway I ended up buying a mountain bike. Like you do Lee was fantastic, he had to deal with 3 generations of our family all asking him questions. I went back today to collect bike. Excellent service and would highly recommend. Bike broke during our tour. Could not believe our luck to find Bike It was only 5 minutes away. Arrived 30 minutes before closing and the shop was packed. Lee, the owner, was super friendly and attentive with everyone. He served the customers who were ahead of us and rather than close on time, he stayed and serviced my bike which saved our touring trip entirely. Bike is riding better than ever. Wish this was my local bike shop!
Have used Bike It several times over the years and am always happy with the service. Today they carried out a while-you-wait repair for me despite being very busy. Genuinely appreciated, I can now go out riding during the bank holiday as planned.
Couldn't be happier with the service. Went in to enquire about repairing an old bike, I found the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in advising me. Left feeling like I'd learnt alot and that they'd given me an excellent deal. I'd recommend this shop to everyone. Proper genuine people.

Two years back I bought my first new bike in two decades from Lee at Bike-It. Best decision ever. Knowledgeable, courteous and patient, he is exceptional. I've always had excellent advice and quick turnaround on repairs, usually at very short notice and on my sons' bikes too. Lee even takes the rime to explain to me how to fix things myself, perhaps losing a bit of cash in the process but winning my loyalty for years to come. Thanks Lee, keep it up.
Fantastic local bike shop. I have been so impressed with the help, advice and support in purchasing a new bike. Every time I have spoken to Lee the emphasis has been on what I actually need as opposed to trying to up sell me products I don’t. There is clearly a passion for bikes and this comes through from the customer service; the emphasis has always been concentrated on achieving the right bike and fit for me. This has been achieved, the bike I have now taken ownership of has blown me away compared to my old one and I am now looking forward to switching my emphasis from running to cycling, thanks Lee! A year on from writing the above everything I have written remains true! Brilliant service and care. Lee has helped me out massively - I’m more than happy to travel to get here since it’s clear to me the desire for first class customer satisfaction and care is the overriding priority! Thanks again!
We recently had our two bikes serviced and repaired by Bike It and were so impressed with the care and customer service we recieved. A small business run by real bike enthusiasts, who go out of their way to be helpful, and know what they're talking about. We will definately be returning for our every bike-need and can't recommend them highly enough!
