I used to like BIG DADDY from the original owner . Now I found OCEAN TAKE AWAY in Mayplace. Road . Firstly, customer service in BIG DADDY dropped massively. Arrogant staff and even the owner was not friendly AT ALL. Secondly, the fish and chips was soaked in oil compare to OCEAN TAKE AWAY. Why one star? Customer care and quality of food
I love the fish and chips here I’ve been coming here for 14 years is that the family here nice people nice chips and fish and also they sell other products as well very good a curry sauce is very nice and Tasty and the customer service It’s great and the best one in Bexleyheath hope they will keep on going good quality staff and good quality people

I ordered 4 x cod and chips at 5.40pm and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I ordered 4 kebabs from next door so i thought excellent i can collect at the same time. As i turned up i was meet with a que mostly take away delivery drivers so i thought no problems ive ordered already so i will just wait. Got to the front of the que at 6.15 and said i ordered earlier, I was ignored for 5 minutes then asked again and said i would have to wait. They had not even cooked the fish. I had to wait another 25 minute's while my kebabs were getting cold. Not good enough at all. The chips were very oiley as well. This is not the first time this has happened either.
Ordered a large haddock and large chips. Haddock is always made to order so you're guaranteed to get it freshly battered. Chips were hot too. Enjoyed by all in the family!
Only started using this chippy about 4 weeks ago and seriously cannot fault it! Best fish and chips around! Nice friendly service!
Hands down the best quality chippy in the area. They skin their fish before battering it and frying it fresh too. Does mean a bit of a wait unless you call ahead but well worth the wait if you don't.
Best chippy in town. Their cod taste fresh each time I visit and place is always busy peak which tell you that all the locals also agree with me.
