I will always love this place. Delicious hot chocolate! I personally am not a coffee drinker, though, so take my review as you will. The owners are so kind, and the employees are very sweet. They are also super efficient when there are long lines. Love this place!
Excellent service and very polite and helpful staff. Love the 1930s art deco style in the upstairs Belmont Room and everything was nicely socially distance so I felt safe. Food and drink was excellent, especially the spiced Christmas blend tea. Will definitely go again.
Always a pleasant trip to the shop! The most amazing products, from tea, cake and coffee! If you want a real proper northern tea, get yourself a bettys blend box or caddy of tea! Complimented with many beautiful French fancys. Covid safe. Follow the rules and regulations to the letter.
Definitly a place that is a must to visit if you will have a tea at York city centre, is not very expensive, and you can have all the british experience of drinking and eating like a british person. I will come back soon.
Beautiful rooms and views, smart and attentive service, and a feeling of being indulged. However, our lunch and cakes didn't quite keep pace. Not bad, actually pretty good, but not what we'd hoped for. That said, I would go again tomorrow for the overall experience.
