What a beautiful Hotel! I think my first word was 'wow' when we pulled into the driveway. It's so nice to stay in a manor house style hotel rather than a purpose built concrete block, we actually paid less than our friends who stayed in such a building less than a mile away! The grounds were lovely too, plenty of photo ops. The staff were just wonderful, so friendly, attentive, chatty and knowledgeable, particularly Ian for sorting out our rooms and Danielle for being so knowledgeable about the history of the building and taking us on a little tour. In terms of food they have a fabulous bar menu and 7 types of mash!! (yes 7!!!) it was so hard to choose what to have as everything looked so great! Breakfast was amazing too, it's nice to be able to choose which items you'd like. We also had a roast dinner on Sunday which was great value and simply delicious! We just stayed for 1 night but we will certainly be coming back! Thank you for a great stay!

What a lovely place to stay! The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome the moment we walked in and when we were leaving. The food was of a high quality. Would love to go back there again.

Attended an event and stayed over at the hotel. Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful throughout the evening. The room was well kept l. The en suite looked recently refurbished and was clean. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend.

Appalling place to stay! I had good expectations from this hotel but my stay was a total let down. I booked a month in advance and the room a got was very tiny and I'm glad I was on my own. If i had been with my Mrs there was no way we would have stayed in that room. Apart from Assit. manager, all other staff was just filling in and I didn't feel welcome at all. Breakfast was a joke and they would definitely get the award for serving the most horrible coffee. The only positive thing about my stay was the hotel building itself which didn't do me any favor though. I paid significant money to stay here and can say that it was not worth it at all. They should also remove the name Best Western from their name as they are doing no justice to the name.
