We spent one night here. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The one issue we had they were very accommodating. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices and the breakfast staff was very cheerful and helpful. The hotel is right across the street from several restaurants. They are very pet friendly we didn't have a pet with us, but the people checking in in front of us did and have rooms where pets can stay and a pet area outside.
Would not give any stars but had to "give" one to leave a review. We booked online after speaking with a representative. "Central," as it's called, assured us that we simply share with front desk that we're traveling with pets and in that way we could secure the online price which was cheaper than the over the phone price. Upon arrival, we were not greeted. Rather, quite rudely, we were asked if we had confirmed our pets. When we said yes, the front desk person, rather than trusting the customer who was divulging that we were traveling with pets, said he had no record of us calling. We shared that we had indeed called but because it's an automated phone tree i.e. the customer isn't given a choice we were directed to "central" who assured us we would have a room. To then arrive in person and be told the opposite... is this the customers fault, or the businesses? And even if we could claim a "fault" in this circumstance, does this mean we should be treated rudely when we are paying over $200 for a room we booked in advance? When we said we could not afford the now jacked up price for pets rather than honor what we had been told by "central," the front desk person did not apologize for the inconvenience or predicament we were in. We requested to cancel our non refundable room & without even looking at a screen and making changes, this individual said "done" in a self satisfied manner. We have yet to learn if we will be charged. We have never been treated so rudely as paying customers. We had already booked a room, done our due diligence by calling to confirm before booking and simply arrived to check in. We found a room at El Rancho nearby who actually waived the pet fee because our dogs are conservation detection dogs and conduct wildlife work in the region. We were all set to love Best Western after a wonderful experience in Lone Pine but will now rethink ever giving business to this company if they can't assure customers of communication between "central" and their on the ground customer service. Shame on you BW, for making us feel like trash and not finding a solution that provide your business with the money we were willing to pay and instead, demander more and treated us rudely.

Not a lot of parking space at all! Need weather stripping on door to prevent the floors from warping. The wood floors are wavy and my husband kicked a plank back into its spot.Rooms: 3/5

This is not a bad place to stay. Especially is you have business in the area...Was here during a storm and power outage....they kept the power on for us and a good revolving breakfast each day. Ty!Rooms: 3/5
I attempted to get a room for the night for my wife and I. I asked one of the two representatives at the desk if they offered a military discount. The young man I spoke with did not know, so he asked his co-worker, who replied, "I don't know." I advised the representative that I had stayed at the Best Western in Barstow, CA two days earlier and that Best Western gave me a military discount. The representative simply looked at me. I left and went elsewhere. I was a fan of Best Western until this incident, but now, I will never consider Best Western again. There are too many other options.
Hotels had to be suddenly changed, the Best Western website was not properly working. Angie ? at the front desk was very helpful. She fixed me up with a clean and quiet room. She also got the online Best Western Member guest discount. The parking availability was excellent. The breakfast was a full and tasty hot one; the only issue encountered was the pool being ice cold and thus not able to use when the outside temperature was in the mid 80's.
Overall the room was clean, seemed recently remodeled. Older building and layout. Toilet and shower area are pretty cramped. Tub shower floor was “very” slippery. Separate sink area was nice, beds were comfortable. Would stay again.
