Appalling school! My son was here and has problems which they were told about before he started there, but when mrs o'mara (maybe spelt wrong) went for a meeting with the nursery he was at prior she went back to the school and told them that he was perfectly normal and had no problems! We ended up pulling him out of the school as they said they would give him no help whatsoever as they werent getting paid for it. The day we pulled him out my son had poo'd himself (one of his problems) and he had been sat in it for quite some time as it had dried on him and my partners mam was told he had only just done it and she had to take him home to get him changed. Eventually they agreed to change him. When thay changed him they took his dirty clothes off and put clean clothes straight on him without even cleaning him!!! The deputy head mr iveston is a very arrogant smug bloke too! We got pulled into the school for a meeting with him due to my sons attendance record. He was wanting to know why he had so much time off. Apparently he had no idea that it was because THEY had been sending him home and saying he had to stay off for 48hrs!!! While we were having this "important" meeting that lasted around 30-40 minutes he left the room 3 times to go and talk to other people! We now have my son in burnside primary school a few minutes away which is fantastic and they cant do enough to help him with his problems! so as you can probably guess from this review I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE!!!! I hope this helps people make a decision about sending their children to this school.
