Charged £4 AGAIN for a no show even though I scanned my membership card and it makes the bleeping noise to acknowledge it. While I am paying a membership fee every month, I see countless people just walking in without scanning a card or speaking to a member of staff. Maybe I should cancel my membership and just get in for free like everyone else seems to.
Had an absolute nightmare trying join. When I eventually received my membership card it was non affective when you need to swipe to enter the gym room. I have asked for new cards but still won't let me swipe in. I have to knock on the door to gym for someone to let me in which is absolutely pathetic

Save your money.nnBerkhamsted centre is simply disgusting. I've never seen a cleaner cleaning anywhere in the building. Toilets are a disgrace. The swimming pool is dirty and basically no natural light in either the gym or pool, making it feel like a dungeon.nnThe gym is way too small tor the amount of people they let in There isn't enough facilities for weight training, they need to introduce a cap on the memberships because you are lucky to get a chance to use anything between 5-9pm. The gym itself shuts 45 minutes before the centre closes which is at 21:15, absurdly early. If you work full time this makes it very difficult to actually find a time to go to do a full workout.nnThe staff are really nice and welcoming. It's a shame the centre itself is an absolute cesspit of dirt and crammed overcapacity.nnAll this for circa £50 per month. Absolute joke
