I dropped off one item and was greeted with a miserable worker, who said she was too busy to take it. I then politely explained I wasn’t in a hurry to collect it, but would save me time if I could leave it. She then said fine, snatched the money out of my hand and said something about not being able to leave on time. I asked when to collect it and she said whenever and walked off leaving me speechless. I almost left, but then went back in as I didn’t want to leave my expensive item with such an angry old woman. By the time I got back there was another poor customer waiting who also got an earful. It should be noted that for someone so busy, she spent a bit chunk of time smoking with a coffee outside and turning away customers. I asked for a refund and she threw the money back at me without even looking never mind speaking. We all have busy days and are stressed but she has no idea what her customers may also be dealing with. And they are probably worse days than hers. I did then go to the Dunston Laundrette where I was met with lovely friendly service. I won’t be back.
Took a king sized duvet to be washed it came out looking new,was only 3 years old but spilled coffee on but majority of stain came out.cost £4 to wash it another launderette quoted £25 to have it washed and dried,it only cos that to buy.i gave it a half hour dry which I think was £2 just took a bit moisture away as was hanging it over the banister when I got home.I arrived 10 mins before closing as I thought they were open until 7 I had misunderstood the times over phone so my fault ,was annoyed with myself as it cost £6.50 to get a return ticket however the lovely lady said it would take half an hour to wash and she still had plenty of folding etc to do so would be there another hour so let me put it in as long as it was a quick wash ,I was so very grateful for this I offered to help her fold things in return for the favour .would use this place again seems very busy at weekends though
Shocking absolutely shocking....... Staff attendant is so rude.... You would think if she's having a bad day you would not expect it to be taken out on paying customers.....
Great customer service! Well explained process. Make sure you have coins!!! £3.5 for a wash. £0.80p for a washing liquid and £3-£4 for a dry. Free parking Bay outside.

Took our sleeping bags to launder today and were very happy with the washing machines and the friendly service and advice given by the member of staff.
On holiday and I went here to wash all our beach towels....the premises was clean and the machines looked new, the lady was very helpful and accommodating and along with the other ladies customers I had a great laugh. What a lovely experience.
Currently take my washing every Saturday and every week the service is fantastic. Dont know her name but the lady who wears the wrist supports is always friendly, polite and happy to help. Because of this I'm happy to travel the 12 mile distance from my home to use their services every weekend. Tried a different launderette closer to home recently and was charged a full £5 more for the same washing that I take each week to the Washeteria. Excellent value for money coupled with a warm friendly service. What more could you ask for?
I’ve always found the staff nice and friendly here, I use the Launderette about twice a year for my Duck Down Feather Double Duvets,Price ... is only £10.70 and that’s for washing and drying..was ready the next day.
