Hidden gem in Bath! Visited with family for dinner 6 adults. We were seated quickly and served promptly. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Toilets are quirky due to the location of the restaurant but are clean and tidy. It was busy when we visited which only goes to show that it is a good restaurant. A service charge was added to our bill, I prefer to leave a top of my own choice than be told what to contribute. Would recommend to others.
We had a very pleasant evening out at this restaurant which balanced limited space with atmosphere and safety. The food was delicious and the staff courteous and pleasant at all times. Food was well priced. For fans of curry, this will provide and good night out.
Best curry I've ever had. Hot currys are HOT really fresh and great flavours in all dishes, great service, highly recommend!Food: 5/5
The food taste and quality was not upto the expected standards. We had a full course dinner after a long day of travel, and we tried multiple dishes. The chicken was chewy, starter quantity was on lower side, biriyanis were same rice tossed with chicken/prawn/veggies and the taste reminded nothing of a Bengali/Indian cuisine. One star only for the Naan bread which was soft, rest everything was tasteless and bland. The service was comparatively slow. Lastly on the price point, the food certainly did not match the bill of £160 either group of 2 small families. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant!
Literally one of the best curry’s i’ve ever had in my life. Food for 2 a lot of food prepared in less than 10-15 minutes. Flavour was a 10/10, easy to order over to phone etc. We are beyond happy and we will be ordering again very soon. Thank you so much!!
A busy Saturday night in a quaint underground restaurant that reminded me of the Mos Eisley Cantina from Star Wars. Private booths with incredible service and fantastic food. I couldn't recommend anywhere better to have Indian food whilst in Bath!
Some of the best curry I've had! The staff were very attentive and friendly as well which was a welcomed bonus. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Lovely affordable tasty food. Staff were very friendly. We ordered four different dishes alongside rice and naan and they were all delicious. Would recommend for a tasty curry
Absolutely wonderful, food was served in great time, amazingly friendly staff. Never had a bad visit here
Brilliant Indian Cuisine and Restaurant. The restaurant is located, like most in Bath, downstairs from the main street the basement. You walk down a well lite introduction alley way, and then downstairs into the restaurant where you sit and Indian Style Booths. The food is brilliant, particularly the sample taster meals such as the Tandoori Bengal Platter and the Bengal Meat Thali pictured in this post. Both of these allow you to have a good selection of tastes without being tied down to one curry. The waiters were very pleasant and helpful. For example, when we ordered the two platters, the waiter asked if we would like different naans and dips from the standard in order to have a greater selection of tastes. Alcohol is a little over priced, +£5 a pint, but this is starting to become standard for restaurants nowadays anyway. Lovely food and pleasant visit.
