Warm, friendly church, with delicious cake on a Saturday morning.
I have been attending the Headway meetings at the Benfleet Methodist Church for about 1 year and I feel it is helping me to recover after I suffered a stroke on 1st Jan 2023 the ladies who run the sessions are great and helped by Kevin from upstairs along with some volunteer helps we have a session of exercise each Tuesday and learn about how we can manage to learn to live with the after effects of brain damage that we have suffered etc
Found a wonderful Christmas bazaar with donkeys to stroke in the forecourt, good value items for sale, friendly people, an orchestra playing Christmas music and finished with hot tea and cake chatting to people. Well done to all who put this on at beginning of Advent.
Really Enjoyed my Time there with a Charity Group. Was very Pleased to get a Newsletter. Telling about what's the Church put on For People. A Nice Sunday Lunch second Sunday of every month Coffee mornings Table Top Sale! Enough from me if you want to know more Please go and see for Yourself!!!!
Lovely ambience, as soon as you walk into the building. A wide range of activities take place here, outside the hours of worship. If I lived closer I would definitely be more involved. Modern and well organised. Staff are very kind and genuine!
