The atmosphere is great, minimalist decoration and clean and tidy, free wifi, the staff are friendly and know what they're doing. However, I won't be recommending it unless the management rethink their prices for a meal vs quality of food and waiting time. £7.35 is too steep for just a toasted sandwich and a coffee and I didn't even find the sandwich particularly tasty, the bread was a bit burned like the sandwich had been toasted too long and yet it *still* wasn't piping hot when it arrived on the table. The bread was so tough I only ate half the sandwich. The cafe might also draw more customers if they lowered prices and improved quality, as it was nearly empty when I went there at lunchtime on a weekend. The range of food isn't very big but that's understandable for a new business. 2/5
Pleasant staff and atmosphere. They don't serve filter drop coffees, only espresso based. Marks down for charging 50p for transactions under £10 which is against the T&Cs of the iZettle system they're using.
Coffee is good, service is friendly but not sure they will be around for long with changing staff and uncertain opening hours. A lot of local competition so they do need to offer something special to keep custom.
I love this little gem - great coffee, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. But agree with previous reviews, the opening times are unreliable/confusing which means I only visit spontaneously when I walk past and it happens to be open. I never agree to meet with people here since you risk ending up in front of closed doors. Sort it out, would be a shame to see this place go again.
