Could do with a few trains to Sheffield stopping here
This station has got ticket machines and seating but not much else including toilets. King Street is a short walk if you want food or something.
Epic place to live! beautiful views, amazing little independent shops, decent supermarkets!
There is a very strange, bald, tattooed man that hangs around here. He harassed myself and my son while my son was just recording trains. It's a lovely presented station but with minimal visibility and staffing so weirdos like this get free reign, unfortunately.
Belper was amazing, passed it so many times on way to Ashbourne & Matlock but never stopped, glad we did today as lovely place, so clean & people so nice
Lovely town of Belper is in Amber Valley. Small town with busy main street. It has nice central Memorial Park but lacks in childrens playgrounds in town centre. The streets are quite steep so it can be little hard for elderly to walk on. It does have some tourist attractions as it is poorly signed. Nice to visit for a day or two.
Bedlper is a fantastic place with lost of little independent shops including cafes clothing and jewellery and many more. It's a very friendly place and has a lot of different events like the food festival and live music
Live here and love the place.
Belper station has hourly trains to Derby, Nottingham and Matlock. There's even a morning one to Chesterfield and Sheffield and an evening departure for Leicester and London. Good facilities including ticket machines, somewhere to shelter from the rain, a departure board and announcements. Just could do with some more services to London, the South West and the North!
It's a simple railway station, enough said. However, don't always expect to be able to use the ticket machines as they seem to be out of order more times than actually working.
