This station has got ticket machines and seating but not much else including toilets. King Street is a short walk if you want food or something.

It's a simple railway station, enough said. However, don't always expect to be able to use the ticket machines as they seem to be out of order more times than actually working.

This station doesn't really have much in the way of facilities. A couple of shelters with seating and a couple of departure boards. This is a penalty fair station as ticket machines are at the station so it's best to get a ticket before you board the train. The only problem with this is that at peak times the queue for the machine can be quite big. You can get trains every hour to Derby, Nottingham and Matlock. There are a couple of national trains that call here in the morning and a couple at night but after that the station is ignored by everything but the local service. I have frequently found myself going to Derby to catch a train that then goes back through Belper on it's way up north. I think there needs to be more national trains stopping here if only to make it more convenient for customers that what to go further afield.

Belper station has hourly trains to Derby, Nottingham and Matlock. There's even a morning one to Chesterfield and Sheffield and an evening departure for Leicester and London. Good facilities including ticket machines, somewhere to shelter from the rain, a departure board and announcements. Just could do with some more services to London, the South West and the North!
