A lovely location with a reasonable golf course. Rooms are characterless, clean and comfortable but no soundproofing could hear the next room talking & corridors outside. Breakfast is basic but pleasant enough, dinner was very disappointing and bland. Caters mainly for large groups in a noisy dining room. Wine list was poor quality & pricey.. Golf course well kept but greens were like carpet …… very slow. Many footpaths across the golf course so dangerous for walkers! No driving range or practice area apart from a pointless practice green nothing like the course. Staff pleasant. Small pro shop for the basics no water proofs available to buy and no ladies clothing/shoes.
Always enjoyed this hotel and golf course. We have been going to it for many years. Food is always of a high standard and selection of drinks is widealthough, like most GC, not cheap. Service is friendly and efficient. Rooms are great for the price. Clean, tidy and comfortable.
Beautiful area, nice size and clean but the room we had was much too noisy at night.nWe couldn't enjoy our sleep.
Great place to do a golfing weekend staff were very friendly and welcoming facilities were good, rooms a touch dated but weren't I them for long golf course was lovely just a couple of greens in the process of repair. Would definitely book for next time.
Staff were exceptional and friendly. Rooms clean but dated. No lift to upstairs rooms.Shower above bath, no walk-in shower.nClubhouse on-site served excellent food and was very modern. Free parking for guests. Would recommend.
