Had dinner at Bellini's while we stopped in Cardiff for a few days on a family break. Very helpful staff and super friendly, even knocked me up a Campari spritz that wasn't listed on their drinks menu. Food was great along with the service and fantastic view from the table over the bay. Highly recommend 5*
This was one of the nicest Italian meals we have ever had, we had pizza and pasta, and calamari. Every single meal was fantastic, and cooked excellently. We had a three year old and eight year old, they had pasta from the children's menu, and they absolutely loved it. Very generous portions, but the absolute deliciousness of the food was the absolute highlight. Staff were also very friendly and great with the children.
Great food, very attentive service. The place was welcoming, had a great view of the harbour. The staff were friendly. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Very nice Italian food. Prices are ok but I don't like the 10% service charge they apply! No need, this ain't America! Apart from that you do have a lovely window view whilst you dine. Caters for indoor and outdoor seating. My other half had chicken in a wine sauce which she really loved. Food is cooked professionally and does taste of quality. Would of given 3 stars but the view does give an extra star! Good friendly service, polite and follows new covid rules with hand sanitizer stations. Definitely worth trying especially if you do like Italian food.
After having high expectations, my birthday meal wasn't as great as I'd have hoped. The staff were rude to the customers and the manager was being very rude towards the kitchen staff. The room was very cramped and full, making it hard for the staff to move around. However, the atmosphere and staff being very unsatisfactory, the food was a good standard. Had the room not been so loud, I could have actually spoken to my family.

Nice view Italian restaurant at Cardiff bay. Antipasto, Pasta, and the desert are all good.
If I could have given 2.5 stars I would have as the service was OK and the view was great. Sadly the food wasn't even average. Had the calzone Kiev and regretted it as soon as I had cut into it. The calzone just ozzed a watery tomato liquid which did nothing for its appeal. The taste was was even less impressive. My wife had the ravioli which had burst whilst cooking. Also, whilst I appreciate that this restaurant is not the only one to do so I did not appreciate the service charge of 10% being added to the bill. Why do restaurants do this. I guess it because they know most people would not embarrasse themselves by asking for it to be removed. To me that's nothing short of presumptuous and rude.
Very poor food quality - pasta overcooked , sauces tasteless and as if from a can. Portions also small and overpriced. The only reason for the second star is the lovely view and the very friendly and helpful staff.
Thank you Bellinis for a lovely meal. Special thanks for how you handled the problem with our fussy eater grandson- it couldn’t have been dealt with more smoothly. So impressed. We will certainly be seeing you again.
