As always, staff was very attentive and friendly. I've had their beef bourguignon, which was delicious followed by Irish coffee for my "dessert". Recommend it!Food: 5/5
Always driven past this pub. The Christmas market in town was heaving and this pub was a short detour on the way back to the racecourse where we were staying. We found an ‘unreserved’ table and ordered food and drinks. Food was amazing , whilst eating two reserved signs were put in our table for later in the evening. They were really busy but thus didn’t effect the service or quality of the food. I am sure we will be back at New Year - but we will book! Returned again at New Year … but will not let me post another review . Food amazing, staff amazing … wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
Discovered this gem after Covid after years of passing it by. This visit was excellent! The food delicious, service was first class. Easy booking online, table reserved and ready to go. There is a lovely outside seating area too cold this time but can definitely recommend Food: 5/5
Food was actually quite nice. My issue was, as a solo patron, I wanted a reasonably small table that wasn't going to get knocked my be walking along the front of the bar, but most tables were reserved for various times. Meaning I had to pick one of those and end up being shifted nearer the time or take up a big table. In the end I took up a 7 seater. But at least I was a paying customer Vs all those empty tables reserved that had noone in them. Drinks are pretty expensive , a pint was £5+ but I'm from the north so Im happy with my £2.50-3 pints thanks. Food was nice though tbf. Portions quite small but that's ok.
There should be more stars for atmosphere! What a lovely place to be. When we went last night, the sun was shining, company was pleasant, food was lovely and the staff were amazing. So friendly, looked after us and we were genuinely welcome. Great work guys.Food: 5/5
Lovely English Pub! The food, the drinks, and the atmosphere are all first class. The parking lot was full on a Sunday eve for reason: Bell pub is a wonderful pub experience. The food, the atmosphere, and the drinks are all first class. Our party ordered the Grilled Pineapple & Chili Chicken Thighs, Beef & Ale Pie, and their Fish & Chips. Even our finicky eaters were pleased.
This pub is about a mile outside the centre of Stratford. Well worth the walk, across a park and through nice housing estates. Helpful, welcoming staff, good menu, great drinks, plenty of outdoor seating on a quiet road, dog friendly.Food: 5/5
Met with family on a Friday lunchtime for a bite to eat. The place was quite busy so book. There was a good buzz inside the place without being excessively loud. Menus were handed out and drinks order was taken. The server asked if we were ready to order, we asked for a couple more minutes which turned into 15. That said, our meals arrived promptly once our order was taken. I think everyone got what they ordered and most of it got eaten. If you want good pub grub in a nice, clean, friendly environment I recommend The Bell.
We booked here for lunch with family a few days after Christmas. It was very busy but they managed to squeeze us in. There was a bit of a wait after ordering food as they had a table of 12 in who ordered just before us but food was on the table in half an hour. The food was good portions, well cooked and all delicious. A friendly welcome from bar staff, a cozy atmosphere and good food. We had a great time! Parking is very tight tho!!
Had the most amazing Sunday lunch here today. A party of 9 ladies. Everyone was helpful and polite and the food was absolutely gorgeous. My lamb shank melted in the mouth Thanks to Max for serving us so well. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
