Went to this place for lunch, and it was, all in all, really good. The garlic bread and the organic tomato, mozzarella & basil pizza were delicious. The pizza with the tuna topping was alright, the sauce on it was good, but the overall taste with the tuna was not that great honestly. The service was fine, and the overall atmosphere is nice.
Not a very busy branch to eat in, so thought this would be a better branch to experience Franco manca pizza in, however they are too busy with deliveroo orders to be focused on guests dining in. Food was very average, soggy pizza, undressed bland salad, so wouldn't eat here at this branch again. The waiter who served us also was pretty rude and short.
Been to a fair few branches, but Bromley is my favourite. A good number of the staff have been there for multiple years, and there's a pleasant, audible level of barking and pizza oven scraping from the open plan kitchen. The food is always good, unless you're an extremely slow eater and the cheese starts to turn against you, or you have lockjaw, because we all go to Franco to submerge the chewy crusts into the garlic/chilli oil. If you dont, then do. Oh, and the price is always on the sensible side.
Visited Franco Manca for the first time and it truly exceeded my expectations. The pizza was delicious and truly authentic alongside the dessert. It was nice knowing the “Tiramisu” was made with mascarpone rather than most restaurants that use double cream. I will definitely be visiting again!
Been there on mother’s day and maybe it was just a bad day… Restaurant is clean and big, family friendly and the service was good but the pizza was really disappointing. It was definitely not an Italian pizza more like a frozen pizza you could buy at the supermarket for 3£. It was flat, gummy and undercooked. One of the pizza had a hole in it!!! In my life I never saw a pizza with a hole!!! Not even an home made pizza made by toddlers… Mozzarella was also cheap. Ordered a parmigiana as a side that is supposed to look like an aubergine layered cake.. instead it was 5 slides of aubergine with some mozzarella and extremely salty tomato sauce on top sent it off. I understand there’s a shortage of staff in london but if all you serve is pizza and for whatever reason the standard are so low you should be brave and close for the day or having a restaurant manager overseeing properly the quality of the food been served. Pity. Cause it is a good spot in Bromley. Wouldn’t want to see it closing down.
Great service. Nice location though there are many other pizza places on the same road. The menu can be a bit cumbersome to read, so check out the blackboard with all the daily specials to ease your decision making.
we booked as a group of 14 and were separated onto 2 tables 1 was mostly the kids who were with us. they took the orders of each table separately and, as a result, one table were already eating before the second table even had their drinks! the food itself varied in quality: the vegan special that day was quite salty and the person eating it couldn't finish it. the chilli dip, the garlic bread, and the rosemary bread were all delicious. my pizza vegan margherita with a few toppings was good but the toppings were all in the middle and not evenly spread around the pizza. one of us ordered a buffalo mozzarella pizza and we had to send it back as there was cheesy water all over the pizza - the mozzarella hadn't been drained properly! the staff were nice and took photos for us as we were celebrating a birthday. toilets were clean and the place is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair accessible toilets. Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessible entrance & toilets. Dietary restrictions: lots of options for vegan & gluten free diners
We’re regulars at all Franca branches and love their pizzas, but Bromley is awful. Terribly slow service, they never seem to get a simple order correct, pizzas are left on the counter before brought to table so they go cold, super soggy if you order buffalo mozzarella as they don’t drain it, but the most frustrating thing is the staff seem so slow, incapable, and don’t even care when they get it wrong. Will not be going to the Bromley branch again.
My daughter wanted pizza and we decided to head to Franco Manca, which we left with awful experience. Pizza was burnt, stuff was careless and they brought a bill with something extra in it that we didn’t order after noticing it, they changed a bill. Honestly, never going back to that restaurant again.
My second visit here and I think it is the best pizza i've ever had. Leaves Pizza Express standing. Good price and service.
