Across from Concentrix, there is a stoned and potholed peice of ground, which has great views out over Belfast Lough. Not a bad place to sit with a coffee and watch the boats go by.
Great stretch of water. Led to the creation of Belfast, and could also destroy it, which would be sad but poetic.

Probably more pleasant on the south shore than the north side. Lovely coastal path from Holywood to Bangor and beyond. Great to watch gannets diving and cormorants skimming over the waves. Plenty of shipping to see. Some fishing spots and boat trips. The railway runs within walking distance of most of both sides of the Lough. Some quaint old stations. Only 4 stars as the local authorities need to clarify whether cycling is or isn't allowed along the coastal path and have proper signs.
