Went for the Sunday buffet. Portion size is good and selection is varied. The food was tasty and good quality. Minus 1 star because they class children over 10 as adults which seems a little weird. Don’t over order on starters as they’ll bring your mountains of food and you’ll fill up before main course. Some dishes very salty so get lots of tap water to go with your food.
Best Chinese food in Guildford. We came for a birthday lunch on Sunday and enjoyed the buffet which is £22 for adults and £12 for children. They even gave us a souvenir photo of our group to take home as a gift which was a nice touch. The buffet concept is that you can keep reordering food and they will make it fresh for you and deliver it to your table- this is much more preferable than standard buffets where food can be sitting under hot plates for hours. Just be sure not to over order as food wastage is charged. The food itself is absolutely lovely and always top quality. Service is pretty quick but it does get busy so I’d definitely recommend you book in advance. Yes, it’s not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for here.
I ordered Nasi goreng for take away, didn’t like it at all. The rice is way too hard and dry, and the most important of all, not enough nasi goreng paste, so it’s basically just a plain fried rice. I’ve tried it in somewhere else, so much better than this. The restaurant looks nice and pretty, also the service is great too, every staff is nice. Given the quality of the food I got, I would say it’s overpriced. Maybe you should have different prices for take away? The sweetcorn chicken soup is nice though.
It’s a wonderful Chinese restaurant - good location, easy parking in the side street, and amazing interiors - with some tasty Chinese food. However we arrived at this restaurant at approx 1:50pm for lunch, and even though they were closing at 2:30pm - and not busy at all the staff was unhappy to seat us down. He also pushed us to order within 2-3 minutes of arrivals - even though when we hadn’t looked through the menu - so it spoiled our experience and the restaurant lost 2 stars from my review. A vegan person can also have a good meal here.
Had the Sunday eat all can buffet. Everything freshly cooked and the menu not cut down in size - you literally have what you want and as much as you want. I thought it was very good value and the food quality and ingredients used were first class. A lovely surrounding - nice for a romantic meal for two or for a family visiting which we were. Would highly recommend. Good parking at rear of the restaurant too, safe and secure.
Amazing food. Instantly fell in love. Recommend their pork belly and Singapore noodles. Definitely recommend and buy again.
I visited this place couple of times and I was happy, but the last time I was disappointed. Me and my husband went for a lunch, and we waited the waiter for more than an hour to take our order. I stand up twice to call them, but no response. When they finally took the order- the food they brought us was beneath criticism. My husband ordered chicken in nest- the texture was like rubber. My beef dish smells not very nice. We ordered and two dried martinis- absolutely nothing with the original recipe. Just cheap gin and water, on the top spoiled green olive. It’s cost £11. This was the last time when I visit this restaurant. Very disappointed!
We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, really lovely lady greeted us and gave us a nice table. Large restaurant decorated really well. Spotlessly clean The food was so fresh and tasty, we ate everything despite being stuffed Seafood sharing platter was good and made a nice change from usual platter Everything else great, but special mention for the singapore rice noodles, if that was the only dish I'd had, I'd still have been happy Thank you, definitely would recommend and definitely will go back Kid-friendliness: We didn't have children, but a couple of tables with children seemed to have a good meal Parking: Great large car park at the back of the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair accessible
such nice food!! , I rang prior to see if they had vegan options and they were more than helpful to accommodate and alter the options they had to make them suitable!! : Food was piping hot too and I could pick up less than 10 mins after placing the order, my new go to! Vegetarian options: I got the veg chow mien with rice noodles instead, monk veg and satay sauce : really lovely and nice and hot too Dietary restrictions: Really accommodating
Let me start by saying the food Is good, but I have never experienced such awful service as I did in this restaurant.. I am honestly so embarrassed by the way I was spoken to and shouted at by the manager, I had to ask him to not shout at me - it was outrageous! ... I simply questioned the service charge that was added onto my round of drinks at the bar, only to be shouted at and a menu thrown at me - demanding that I pay.. From my understanding service charge is discretional - I have always been very happy to pay service charges on food but for drinks whilst I'm stood at the bar I think is a step to far right? Well beware I was refused service even when I then offered to pay the charge ... We also asked for some food wrap for the cake we had cut- apparently this was to much to ask for also. Unfortunately the service is not even a 1 star I feel embarrassed and very disappointed with the experience here overall
