Dreadful. Rude disinterested staff and pharmacist. Everytime I. I sit I’m asked to write name, date of birth and address on piece of paper so they can find my prescription. And my name is pretty straightforward. Where does the paper go? The woman who serves me is sullen and petulant and clearly wishes she was somewhere else. Unhelpful, unprofessional - avoid. And to think they’re knocking through to the old Boots store next door. They can’t cope with the space they have let alone anything else!
Great pharmacy with fantastic staff. Always pleasant, friendly and helpful, they do their best to make sure prescriptions and products are right, delivered quickly and promptly, and you get what you need. There are at least two other pharmacies inside 50m, but I wouldn't use either of them given a choice.
Rude and disgusting behaviour learn how to speak to your elders. You need some customer service training on how to speak to people over the phone.
Really good service, fast served always, very organized, always used as pharmacy
Looking at all the great reviews on here, I’m sad to say I didn’t have a great experience yesterday. My partner has been bed bound for 3 days with a shocking migraine usually paracetamol & rest sorts him out but not this one. So, I managed to get him an appointment with an out-of-hours doctor who was great! Reassured us that it’s unlikely to be anything serious, likely stress induced & he has had tests done for them previously, which all came back clear & advised that he try an over the counter medication called “Nurofen Plus”, and that they’re good to have in, in my partners case as they typically take effect really quickly. Due to it being a Sunday, this was the closest pharmacy I could find that was open. I went in and explained to the man behind the counter what the situation was & he picked them up but appeared slightly irritated that I’d asked in the first place I thought, maybe he’s just had a bad day or something. Upon looking, I noticed there was a slightly bigger box so I asked if I’d be able to get that one instead as it would probably be more cost effective, especially as the doctor had said to have them in the house for future. He then came across slightly aggressive, saying “well no because you only take them for 3 days, there’s plenty in there to last him 3 days”, I then tried to explain again what the doctor had said and he cut me off with “well codeine causes migraines”, I said “oh right” & he followed with “yep, codeine induced migraines so” in a rather cocky tone & “if he needs to keep taking them then he needs to go see a GP” which proved he clearly hadn’t been listening to me. At that point I began to feel embarrassed that I’d even asked so quickly paid and began to leave when he shouted “don’t take it for more than 3 days!”. The whole encounter and especially his tone and demeanour just made me feel as though I was doing something wrong by following the advice of a doctor… I appreciate the training and commitment it takes to become a pharmacist & I hope this man *was* an actual pharmacist and not just a sales assistant with how patronising he came across. But at the end of the day, your training still doesn’t give you the ability to completely dismiss the advice of a GP.
Great service! Had medication that 40 other pharmacies didn’t have for my 3 year old before they closed for the extended bank holiday weekend and dispensed within minutes. Friendly understanding staff!! Cannot express enough gratitude.
These guys get it right every time, on time and with great customer service. They've gone out of their way to help me on a couple of occasions. And they open long hours to suit every lifestyle. They took over my several prescriptions from Boots next door a couple of years ago; who got my prescription wrong on a regular basis, if it was ready at all.
After going to an out of hours centre and being prescribed antibiotics to start straight away. The website says open at 7am . I got there for 7.20am and it was shut!!
Saturday evening - no open pharmacies had the prescription I needed other than this one. Excellent fast service.
Brilliant place with brilliant staff - prescriptions are always on spot and on time, chat and friendly banter guaranteed as a bonus : Been a customer since their opening, never any complaints about the service given :
