We have 14,000 square feet of purpose built shop and Warehouse stacked with more than 150,000 bottles and over 3,000 different UK ales, world beers, ciders, malt whiskies, unusual spirits, fine wines, miniatures, homebrew equipment and branded glassware.

Very poor after service that accused me of lying when I pointed out that they sold me out of date Bacchus olde Bruin beer, as if I could source some elsewhere and would go down that avenue for the sake of £19.95. Order was placed in late November 2023. Please be wary of this seller and check your beer closely. Beer arrived timely and well packaged. By the time we got to drink them 14 days had elapsed, so past the point of free return. I found 5 bottles that were out of date. I contacted them by email, no response, phoned them to chase. The response back is that they had none of that batch left on the shelves, so couldn’t verify what I was saying, I attached photos as evidence! They tried to justify it that it is a best before date not a use by date!! I could either return them at my own cost or accept a 10% refund. Basically they didn’t believe these beers came from them! Not great customer service to blatantly call people liars! I expected an apology, what I got was being accused of lying. The after service is not great, they couldn’t care less. Told them I wouldn’t buy from them again - didn’t care. I politely ask that you put extra checks and measures in place, as your ‘current checks’ have let you down and lost you a customer. Not good calling customers liars.
Finally made a pilgrimage to this beer Mecca - 20 years after my first online order. Stunning selection of beer, especially German and Belgian. The taphouse cafe looked great too, but unfortunately I was driving so I didn't partake. Unmissable.
Great customer service. Had an issue with my order, which when spoken with a member of staff, was sorted promptly. Word of advice - if you're ordering using a gift card, email sales with the details of your order immediately, as your email says order placed but the company doesn't get it.
Been inside the shop a couple of times, I've just had a delivery to my home ready for Christmas. Very helpful and friendly staff, good range of alcohol. Ordered on Thursday, standard delivery and it came today Saturday, very impressed. Only wish they had more stock in, as often items I want are out of stock online snd sometimes many empty shelves when been in person to visit. Priced are expected for imported beer.
Don’t order from this shop! I just ordered a box of beers as Christmas gifts and everything in the box has turned up extremely dirty. All the bottles are greasy & dusty and the cans are dented and covered in a dark sticky substance. The outer box is not damaged so this company put these items into the box in this disgusting condition! I’ve just spoken to someone from Beers of Europe who said I should just “wipe them down and they’d be good to go” or if I’m still unhappy with my order I can return at my own cost. What a joke! This company clearly don’t care about their customers experience at all!
I have used BoE for a number of years and their service has always been excellent. For the first time, I had to contact them about a delivery of German beers, part of which had not been delivered. Despite the courier being at fault, both Chris and Matthew promised to resolve it. After a couple of days, Matthew said that I shouldn't have to wait and re raised the outstanding order. I received it the next afternoon.!! Great response and really appreciated. I would like to sincerely thank them both.
Incredible beer selection - good prices, friendly staff. Stock fluctuates and I've taken to checking stock online if there's something I'm after in particular. The attached 'Warehouse' has lots of beers on tap and great food, which you can either enjoy inside or out in the garden.
I went here for seven wonderful years when I was stationed at Mildenhall from 2004 to 2011. It is an AMAZING place and the owners were AWESOME! Glad to see this place still going strong!
Very interesting place with wide international selection. Not only beers but a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, including my favourite aperitif, Suze. The first time I've seen it for sale in the UK!
I ordered some beers last summer for a happy brewster's birthday and they came quickly! However the new website is really poorly-designed. The menu just hangs over the beer list and I can't see what I'm trying to find. There is a cookies' issue with Google Browser and pop-ups. That needs to be looked at as it's extremely-difficult to navigate. I was looking tonight for descent German beers and as a technically-competent web-user I even struggled. 'Product finder' is a hindrance not a tool.
