Both of our young children attend Beehive. We are very happy with the school. Yes it's tiny in comparison to a normal size primary but the kids soon get used to it. It's the small class sizes that make the world of difference and are worth every penny. The staff are wonderful and always approachable. The school is also incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing headmaster.
Friendly school with kind staff - very approachable. Lunches are tasty and the environment cheerful. There could be more school trips, however my sons enjoyed their most recent ones. My boys tell me how kind Mr Rasool is and Mr Farooq is strict but very helpful. The school is small and friendly and the children are mindful and well behaved. Since my two sons started at Beehive their behaviour has improved a good deal. Mr Gurr and Mr Farooq have been proactive and supportive in addressing confidence issues for one of my sons and he is happier, calmer and much more focussed on his studies than at his previous school. BPS is a nurturing school.
Our three children went through Beehive and sadly to say the youngest one finished yesterday. Beehive is a small but extremely friendly school where teachers and children are like one big family. It was always lovely to see how the new additions in the school would be taken care of by the older children and making sure they were alright. Being a small school there may not have been a wide range of outdoor facilities, but our kids never complained. They just loved going to school. Since Miss Richards and her team have taken over, the school has been modernised and learning resources improved. This has definitely aided our chidren's learning and the teachers have tried to push the children to their maximum capability. I know we will miss Beehive. Thank you for setting the foundation in our children's learning.
So far this school is amazing. I am so happy with the progress my child is making. Though he has some neurological issues, the staff is taking very good care of him both academically and socially. It's a very good school where the teacher actually listens about your concerns and make every effort to bring the best out of your child.
We had opted for this school based on friend's recommendation and distance from our home. From our 3 years of experience with the school, we are happy to recommend it to anyone especially if both parents are working. The school deserves 1 extra star for effective handling of pandemic situation - the school immediately started classes online in march. They continued free online activities during easter holidays too. Once lock down eased, school opened with social distancing measures in place.
If I could give this school a minus I would but unfortunately I am forced to give it a one star! This was simply a great school when it was run by the previous owners. Since it has been taken over it has rapidly nose dived! All the decent teachers have left with the exception of Mrs Barr, and the children are being taught by part time inexperienced teachers, and this is what we're expected to pay for! As a parent, you want the best for your child and in my honest opinion, this school is below average for an independent school. If you happen to raise a concern to the head teacher, she just starts to flap around like a headless chicken! She simply does not want to listen! or accept any wrong doing on the schools part. I mean we are paying the fees, surely we should be allowed to raise any concerns that we may have? or am I asking too much? They will get work done within the school without consulting parents and then expect the parents to pay for it! Needless to say, my child is no longer at the school. The school is losing children fast as more and more parents are beginning to realise that they're hard earned money is being wasted at this school. Children are not benefiting .
Strange that I should decide to write a review so soon after the previous poor reviews. I’m guessing a vindictive seems like the same disgruntled parent enjoys continually leaving poor feedback which is a shame. I have to disagree with everything these poor reviews say. I’m not here to comment on those or get into an argument and won’t be responding to any comments. I am entitled to my opinion which I came on here to share. My overwhelming feeling about this school is one of gratefulness for the way they care for and teach my children. Both they and I enjoy the family feeling where my opinions as a parent are listened to and acted upon. I am happy to pay lower fees as mentioned in a previous review as I know I am not paying for the upkeep of acres of grounds. I’m sorry I logged on to see such awful comments about staff and the Head and feel personally insulted at the implication I should think twice about sending my children here. My suggestion is that if you’re not happy move on which the children obviously have but the parents haven’t. This often happens I believe when people don’t like what they hear or get what they want. I would highly recommend this amazing school and thank staff every time I see them for all that they are doing to develop my children and the fantastic education they are giving. Wished I could give more stars!
This school is so rubbish my son is bullied and he hates it people are so trashy and dimwitted that he wishes to leave school the head teacher gives unreasonable speeches >_<
very very very poor school that`s why it is so cheap compared to all the other prep schools in Redbridge,
