Was meeting a friend to see a film at Cineworld and after doing a bit of research this appeared to be the closest public car park.nnThe directions from Google Maps were clear enough coming from south of Loughborough. Getting in requires driving past the building and then making a couple of right turns to bring you round to the entrance, presumably to try and prevent any queues backing up traffic at peak times.nnParking there in the evening I found the car park to be well lit. The ramps for going up and down levels were a decent width, although the spaces themselves were the usual tight squeeze to exit your vehicle from.nnThere were pedestrian exits on either side of the building that will get you to the shops in a minute's walk. As far as I could tell there was only one machine to pay for your parking at. Being a council run car park the evening parking fee was a very reasonable 60p.nnI'll be perfectly happy to park here again should I happen to visit Loughborough in the evening.

Parked there on Saturday evening came back to car to find both wing mirrors smashed .not the only car to have wing mirrors broken.nReported it to council who said they were aware of it and gave me a crime number.They also stated that they knew who had dome it.nNot good enough as they have hiked the evening charge from 60 pence to two pounds.
Found this car park few years ago and was very inpressed with cleaning and ease of use, unfortunately though have been today and few times before, one of the lifts still not working other one been out of service for weeks, and people in a state of intoxication on stairs with sleeping bags using anti social lauguage.
Cheap carpark with easy access to the town centre.
