Rude and unhelpful jobsworth on the gate refused to let us walk across the car park from the footpath to the cafe as it was "private land" and we were not staying on the site. Stuff your cafe mate. We had 3 hungry kids and 3 adults looking forward to a nice cafe stop. I've never come across worse treatment for potential customers! Stuff your campsite too. We won't be coming here again.

Nice cafe and camping site , the cafe serves excellent breakfast and sandwiches , the fisher man's breakfast is about £7 but worth it, can get very busy on weekends , especially if the weather is good, lots of cycle groups stop off here but patient it's worth the wait

Lovely wee site. I've stayed here a few times over the years and every time I return they've made further improvements. They are really investing in the site and its facilities and I look forward to visiting again soon. Special mention to the staff who couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Great team :)

My husband went day fishing. Very good there interesting to go again often when it's warmer weather!

If you're looking for a quiet relaxed experience with the family then don't come here. If you want party's til 2am, kids out screaming til midnight and no sleep then this is the place for you. We have just returned from 2 sleepless nights here. The only good part of this trip was that we had a good flat pitch which was out of the way of the chaos however still not far enough from the bass music and noise levels. Rules aren't adhered to and likewise they are not enforced. Wasted weekend-tired children.
