A very nice welcome, we hadn't booked, but they weren't busy so we were seated quickly. Drinks were ordered and soon arrived and starters and mains ordered.nHubby had the mushrooms to start and I had prawn cocktail, his was fine but my prawn cocktail was three quarters salad, our server said it was the new normal, nothing to be done about it! However the small amount of prawns and tiny bread tasted ok.nOn a more positive note our mains were really good, hubby had the chicken and rib combo and I went for rib eye steak which was the best steak I've eaten in years, so on the whole a nice meal.
Absolutely loved here, food was nice, came out pretty quick, and the waiter was great. Highly recommend
Part of our order was wrong, their solution was to try and cut corners to rectify the issue, which did eventually happen, the portion sizes for the the prices were in my opinion rediculous. My meal picture attached was £17.50! The only upside was that the onion rings as a side were brilliant. Not sure it’s right to pay £70 for a meal for myself and partner, to still leave hungry.nnWill be avoiding beefeaters for a while now
Just visited took 35 mins just to order drinks which was still wrong when they came. Hardly any one there wasnt even busy.nFood cheesy garlic bread 7quid for two soggy bits of bread with cheese. My boy tried the crunchy chicken burger and he said the crunch part was good but the chicken was dry and bland. Very expensive for very poor quality and staff were ridiculously slow, dread to think what itd be like if it had more than 5 tables. £17 for the burgers and really not worth the price. Had to go back out and get my son a pizza for something to eat.nStrongly suggest to know what your getting in for.
Food value was as good as ever. Our server, Angie, was excellent. Only downside was repair work on flooded floor created some background smells but we fully understand it has to be done. Will be back with family in the near future.
