Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.

Bloke that served us, told us to sit in the bar area then walked away from the desk, then the group that came in after us were took to their seat. He must either be having a bad day or not show customers to a seat if they didnt book a table. Food was good. Lasagna was nice, the side salad could have had some sort of dressing on it as it was dull and plain. Parking: If not staying in the hotel, you will need to book your car in upon entering.

We had the buffet breakfast during our stay in hotel. Food was nice with speedy refill and staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great that we started our journey with a relaxing breakfast. And thanks Chris for his passion and efficiency from welcoming every guest and guiding us details of the Buffet arrangement. We’re very satisfied and will come back for sure. Lastly, just one improvement needed is the payment card machine that didn’t work properly that took extra time for staff to proceed.
There is a lot of parking at this eatery. We had booked so the table was clean. Shame the chairs had not been cleaned. I had the mixed grill which was a large enough quantity. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the steak which proved to be a little chewy. The service for a group of 9 was good. I found this place pricey but it was well attended. Look out for vouchers which makes a difference.
I have been many times with the family mostly for breakfast and enjoyed the experience. The food, drinks and service are good and there is a good selection for everyone. Staff can be under pressure at times to get items out but do their best and always very courteous and helpful.

On arrival the pub looked clean, inviting and busy. The gentleman showed us to our table. Our friend had browsed the menu the night before as she was going to be late and she had chosen from the evening set menu 2 courses and a drink for £18.99. The lady gave us the menus for us to browse but she had only given us the normal menu so we had to ask for the evening set menu, which I must say also saved us money. Our food was delivered promptly and it was lovely to catch up with friends however unfortunately we just felt rushed from there on in. No sooner had we put our cutlery down the main dishes were taken away and the menu was given back to us to choose our desserts. Desserts arrived promptly again but the waitress came back to the table and collected the dessert bowls before my friend had even finished hers she didn't take her bowl just to add as she had realised. When she took the bowls she asked us if we wanted the bill, we did say yes as the pub was quiet apart from a few tables left but during our pudding loud music came on which seemed was playing in the kitchens but had com through to the main restaurant which was rather off putting as we were trying to catch up with each other. We normally enjoy a coffee or hot drink at the end of our meal but did not get asked or even the chance to ask. The waitresses were stood close by, felt as if they were lingering, like we needed to hurry up and leave the pub. It was 9.15pm so not late. We paid our bill and we did persist and sat catching up for another 30 minutes, in which time we could have enjoyed a hot drink. Throughout our time we were never asked if everything was okay, if we wanted another drink which is odd for a restaurant. As said the pub appeared clean and inviting on arrival but the service throughout was distinctly average and we felt like we were being rushed. When we go out for food we like to enjoy our time together, not feel rushed but unfortunately this was not the case this evening.
Excellent service Chris has excellent man management skills ensuring our meal was delicious and most importantly hot. I have only ever encountered one instance of a piece of steak being slightly tough. This was dealt with promptly and apologetically. I have eaten over 50 times in the last couple of years. The beefeater Tamworth lady bridge is home from for me and my wife. I honestly could not list enough metaphors to how a little gem if a place this is.
Incredible service from start to finish. Special shout out to Chris who looked after and made it a really special occasion. Nothing was too much effort. Olaf also very attentive throughout. Food good, location good, but service made this one special. We will be back
Great experience. Had dinner with my wife 3 young children and grandparents. Our main waiter was Chris, very smartly dressed and very polite. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Was great with our kids too. Would definitely recommend!Food: 5/5
