The views here are spectacular. Nice walks & bike trails. Has a cafe, shop, picnic area & viewing room with video about it's wildlife & trails. Great place to visit. A must for the views. Plenty parking. Go to the bottom car park where there are disabled spaces right next to the cafe.
A great place for a leisurely walk. Many different routes and most are very easy. Taking a walk through the pine woods is very atmospheric. The café at the tourist centre is very good; nice coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. Will definitely be back.
Gorgeous views and great walks. The paths are holding up well having had work done in the last couple of years and as has been the case since I was little the play area keeps children and parents entertained. The newish visitor centre with cafe has plenty of outdoor seating to allow you space to relax and enjoy the views with pets too.
Phenomenal public place. Free entrance. Forests, open spaces, a loch, aninal centre, bike trails. Different walks with different levels of experience needed. Maps at the reception. Good for dogs. Perfect for even just wee walks. Spectacular views. Visitors centre which has such amazing attention to detail and interactive things for Families. Public toilets but they shut when the centre is shut. Wheelchair access at some parts. Picnic benches.
There's plenty of car parking all over the park. There's a small animal farm with cows, sheep, deer and Highland cattle. There's a viewing platform with some stunning views toward Fife and Edinburgh weather permitting. There's a small loch you can walk round and it leads to another path that takes you all over the park. The paths can get quite muddy in places and that's with the sun out. The play park is a good size and caters for a wide range of age groups. There's a toilet located across from the play park. The visitor's centre has toilets, shop and a small cafe but it can get really busy at times.
Beecraigs Country Park is an amazing place for all the family. There are many trails to explore, of different lengths and difficulties, a nice cafe, many playing areas and a big parking lot. You will be able to meet some farm animals during your walk including the famous Highland Cows and, if lucky, also some wild animals in the forest.
We had a great time at Festive Forest. The lights are beautiful and there's loads to see and do. The only complaint I've got is that some of the paths were quite icy and should have been gritted. Playground: There are a couple of lovely playgrounds at Beecraigs. They do tend to be very busy on sunny days though. Dog-friendliness: A great place for walking dogs!
Lovely place to for young & old to walk, cycle, play, Beautiful view & shady woods, loch & play park/area. Brilliant cafe & great sandwiches, it's very clean with friendly, helpful staff.
Really enjoyed a family picnic and walk through the woods. The animal enclosure was a nice touch with deer and cattle to see. Visitors centre was modern with available toilets and a welcome cafe.
Beautiful park, walking the correct way around helps from walking up hill it seems we took the wrong direction going for the loch first then visitor center was up. And the gift shop was nice but prices were a tad higher then others we have been to. It was nice to get out though and see the animals and scenery.
