Really lovely country house hotel. Nicely decorated bedroom with a huge bed and immaculately clean. Cosy bar area. The meals were really good overlooking a really pretty lake. Would really recommend this hotel.

Homely, relaxing and I look forward to my wee night staying here every year. Just try not to get a room in the annex unless you've got your dog with you. All rooms are great but the ones in the main bldg are very plush. Perhaps old fashioned for some and quiet. Food great and I'm a veggie, husband enjoyed his steak.

Had a family lunch in the hotel in a private function room. We have been to the hotel many times for lunch and the service is always excellent. The food is consistently fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful - it is always great to get such a personal service from the owners of the hotel. The hotel itself and the grounds are lovely, steeped in history and has a roster of famous guests, not least President Clinton. Will be back again for sure.

Had a beautiful meal here and a lovely walk around the fantastic grounds. Would be a lovely venue for a wedding.
