I was very dissatisfied with your change in position regarding our storage unit which you said will have ready for us today (6/7/3017) as the cookers were moved out. You have that to someone else and left us abandoned in a no man's land.It is not a matter of cheap but word and this has caused us a lot of issues as now we have to cancel our hire move all our packed boxes out of the car back to our house and live in a house that should have been empty by Saturday had you kept your commitment. We also now have to say no to our estate agents who were to bring tenants in for viewing next week. We are flying out in three weeks. How could you do this to us??Regards the storage area you were denying at first that the previous one was larger but again changed your view that yes it was larger later. This is poor customer service and unless you can make up for our loss by the your change of product on a planned and agreed date. We won't be continuing or recommending you to our colleagues. Be warned this guy isn't to be trusted and measure all storage space yourselves before taking it.

Does what it says on the tin really.  Self storage rooms at the going rate.  the owner is pleasant and knowledgable.  

Felt a little uncomfortable at the thought that if I wanted access at evenings or weekends it meant the owner having to give up his free time and come to meet me - also means you have to plan out of hours visits which didn't really work with our rather hectic moving schedule.

The other thing which didn't quite tick the boxes was the massive dog who appeared to be molting everywhere around the building.  My son has a dog allergy so we were a bit apprehensive about mattresses etc potentially getting hairs on while we carried them in & out.

Much as we love to support local business, on this occasion we went elsewhere.  Sorry!

I came to Bedford Self Storage when I needed my furniture storing. The staff were friendly and helped me store it away. They are priced very well too! Definitely worth getting a quote from.

I needed a short term storage room at 1 days notice due a fast tenant moving in after the Bank holiday. 

Contacted Steve who showed us around on Saturday AM, his rates are very competative and it does make you wonder why the nationals will always price match guys like Steve 2nd time around!, however, due to the urgency of the move Steve arranged out of hours access several times during his time off. 

It also became apparent the 50 ft2 needed was to become 75 ft2, Steve simply upgraded and completed the paperwork there and then out of normal hours. 

Lastly as he accomodated our travelling between old home and his storage facility, some 2hr per trip (allowing for loading too) whilst we loaded the storage room, he helped unload the cars all 3 of them.

I cannot thank Steve enough for the help that day!
