Station is clean and in good working order. Sadly very little to do once you are through the ticket booths so remember to grab your coffee before going through. Toilets are only on the platforms so keep that in mind if you need the toilet.
Easily found off of the road - postcode Mk40 1DS.nThere's a drop off point if you drive into the station.nIf you want to park take the turning on the right before the station entrance. station being on your rightnThis car park is £3.30 at the weekend per day..nWeekdays £10.40 per day.nOff peak £4.20nnThe station itself isn't the biggest, and certainly not big inside.nThere is however a small cafe, which is Starbucks.nToilets are on the platform and were quite grim.nLifts available.nThis station not only has East Midlands trains, but Thames link.nnI have also found Bedford a very cheap way to get to London, and the tickets are literally half the price than from wellingborough!!
Had to come here over the Easter weekend thanks to engineering works. However, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Platforms clean and many options for food and drink.
An amazing trip to London and back in Spring 2023. Great staff and accessibility to the platforms were amazing. 20 minute car ride from Grendon and train fares were more reasonable. Will definitely use Bedford Station when traveling to London God willing next spring.
Trains ran on time. Plenty of notice boards to keep passengers informed. A lift to get to and from the bridge to get to platforms 2-4.nCoffee outlet outside the doors of the station with an international chain inside.nLarge car parks either side of the station. Council one off the roundabout is cheaper.nAutomatic ticket machines inside. But also a ticket office manned by humans.
