AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCAM !!! We paid for two van insurance policies upfront for one year coverage, shortly after purchasing the insurances we started receiving "7 days notices" by Bedford Insurance asking for more and more information/ documents, each letter was advising that should we not submit the required documents within 7 days of the letter the policy would be cancelled on an immediate effect. This was very stressful as the letters kept coming one after another requiring new information, we once called Bedford Insurance asking them to list all the required documents in one letter but they ignored it... Despite all of the required documents sent on time to Bedford Insurance both of our policies got cancelled without a clear explanation why. We tried to talk to Bedford Insurance on the phone on several occasions but their answers were very vague and unclear. The main problem was that Bedford Insurance returned only a fraction of our up front payments and we needed to pay for new policies (by another provider) once again... A while ago I read some google reviews about Bedford insurance and learned about other people having similar problems with this company... Both of our vans have been insured with another provider ever since and we have not experienced anything like it..(!) Currently we are employing Legal Representatives to claim our money back, in response to the claim letters Bedford Insurance states that they cannot find our records ...(despite references of policies and copy of their own letters sent to them), I believe this is yet another trial to avoid consequences of their unlawful actions. Therefore as per other recommendations posted already on this forum save yourself time and money and purchase by a reasonable provider. On another note I believe most of the 5 stars comments must have been put by Bedford Insurance themselves as I cannot see anyone to be satisfied with such terrible service.

I bought insurance from this company and next day they tried to increase price up by saying that I did not declare one thing right. However, I had evidence that I declared it right. After all this, I cancelled my policy with them. I won't recommend this company.

Horrible people to deal with. Call staff are rude, argumentative and thoroughly unpleasant to interact with every times I've ever called them. Their computer system spits out threatening emails automatically even after you have supplied them all the NCD and Driving Record information. Even then when it comes to renewal time they treat you like a villain when it comes to accidents, claims and convictions. They wanted to nearly double my policy cost at renewal after a year of problem free motoring and protected NCD. Despicable snakes...

Careful here take £144 deposit send you no documents then their staff have a hissy fit and cancel your insurance without request avoid so many better companies
