Bedford Station,  has plenty of parking,  good bus service found Hackney Taxis too expensive,  so used Skyline,  disabled services are good,  the staff need to smile

The station was close to the city centre; though it looks small but it is effective and efficient.nThe staff were also nice, helpful and friendly.nThere were coffee/tea shops around, in case you needed something to eat or drink.nThe station can connect you to the major cities. It is not far from great river Ouse and the bridge.nThe environment looks clean and tidy.nGood place to visit.

My most recent visit, I was at train station swapping trains!nGenerally,  Bedford is a very diverse town with beautiful Riverside and walks. Lots of developments by river with eateries and cinema etc. Good place to visit.

Bedford like many town centres has seen a decline in the amount of high Street shops now available.  It does however offer lots of choices in food eateries and social activities are improving.

Bedford is my hometown. So, can't help but be slightly biased. Bedford is a beautiful town that has the river as a main focal point. Bedford park is another beautiful part of Bedford to see.
