Decent setup with elevators to cross over tracks with heavy luggage. The Starbucks is helpful. Definitely room for improvement!
The station was close to the city centre; though it looks small but it is effective and efficient.nThe staff were also nice, helpful and friendly.nThere were coffee/tea shops around, in case you needed something to eat or drink.nThe station can connect you to the major cities. It is not far from great river Ouse and the bridge.nThe environment looks clean and tidy.nGood place to visit.
Great station, lovely staff, very sad about fellow travellers involved in tragic accident Friday.
It's a train station, so no surprises, but little touches from the staff make a big difference. Very friendly and helpful when buying tickets, they decorate the station for Halloween and holidays/ festivals. The book swap corner is well used and there's 3 coffee shops. Parking isn't cheap, but there's quite a lot of it. Also plenty of bike racks and a cage with free access and use if you ask for a keyfob at the ticket office.nThey've recently upgraded the recycling bins and currently renovating the disabled toilets.nThe thing that impressed me most was one of the staff walking all the way over from the far platform to check that all was ok when I sat at the end of a platform finishing an email after getting off a train, showing they care about passenger welfare.nI could moan all day about trains, but can only praise the staff and this station.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I never had any issues in the many years I've been using this station.
