I want to express my gratitude for the reception team at my GP, especially Naraine and Sue. They always go above and beyond to help me secure timely appointments, even actively looking for canceled slots to fit me in. Their friendly demeanor and genuine care for patients make a significant difference in what can often be a stressful experience. One of the worst GP centres I’ve ever dealt with. The staff are not helpful at all. I went in at 9 a.m. for an urgent matter, and one of the receptionists told me to return at 12:30 p.m. When I came back—before the time she gave me—the same person didn’t even listen to what I was saying and told me it would take at least another 28 days to get a result or a decision.nStaff should show empathy towards patients and at the very least speak to them respectfully. Patients deserve to be treated like human beings, not dismissed without being heard.nThis was regarding a review of my blood pressure, and I was told I had to pay a £125 fee in cash — and even after paying, the decision would still take at least 28 days.
The most stressful referral experience ever. The doctors appear to have no clue what they are doing incorrectly referred to the wrong department after a 6 month wait. No blood tests were taken for the referral and I am still chasing this up 6 months on. The doctors have no professionalism calling whenever they want to rather than the allocated appointment time. There is no apology for the 2 hour 30 minute lateness. The samples required for the referral are not even properly explained and the doctors try to cut you off. When you ask for an explanation of the process they act confused and it surprises me they have any medical education.
I’ve noticed the service has gone downhill recently. The new reception staff rarely greet customers and seem uninterested, which really changes the atmosphere. The older ladies who used to work there were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Management should pay more attention, as the level of service isn’t what it used to be.
Aqsa the pharmacist has been very good. She referred me for the diabetes in remission programme and I have now lost over 9kg weight and Come off my diabetes and blood pressure medication, for the time being.nI feel so happy with in myself..nnThank you so much Aqsa for your support & Advice.
