Unable to give 0 stars. The picture is supposed to be a large donner meat & chips. Ive been coming here weekly for a few months. The portion size seems to have halved every time I come. I've had more from a small. This is now the last straw. I won't be visiting anymore. I would strongly recommend everyone gives This place a miss if this is how they treat their returning customers. I don't really know why I've done this review because I really don't think they'll care. Save your money & time & consider going elsewhere.
Bought a tray of mixed meat and chips, the chicken was inedible.there wasn't one piece that wasn't like charcoal Really disappointed!
Good food, It could be better as the chips were a bit soggy. Good price
First time I've been here since the change of management. The whole family noticed the chips were really nice, not soggy. The fish was a thick piece and cooked well. The batter crispy and not too oily. I also liked the fact that they use biodegradable/recyclable trays.
I travel from kings Heath to this chip shop. I always have fish and chips from here. The chips here are very nice. No cheap potatoes that makes the chips soggy. Good quality potatoes used. The fish is also great. Quality fresh cod. Not like any other chip shops. Try it.
My daughter and her friend decided to get some chips with curry sauce then when they asked how much the Cone of Chips and some Curry Sauce was, the person serving said £2.00, from another chip’s store they’ve visited, they normally pay after, he sounded as he was eager for the money so they said they would have that then he repeated said £2.00 without a ‘please’. When they got home they tried the curry sauce with chips the sauce apparently was quite lumpy with a disgusting creamy taste that it shouldn’t even have, I highly recommend you and your services to at least try to improve your servicing
clicked on fish and chips heading, selected cod. Only cod came and curry sauce. I ordered the fish and chips twice which cost £13 with delivery charge and credit card fee. The menu could be better written . The large cod was more like a small one. Contacted just eat and they advised me to leave a review online as they were not able or not wanting to help.
This used to be my local chippy and I'd to drive over from Selly Oak when we felt like a chip supper. I say USED too because the last time I went a week ago they refused to serve me because they were only taking phone orders. I was completely gobsmacked. A customer goes in person to spend money gets turned away without even being asked what I wanted, not to mention I had children with me. Prices are significantly higher on their website than in the shop. So it's not worth the drive now I know they might serve me.
We really miss the other owner/management. It used to be so easy to order on the phone. Now we constantly have to give our address on the phone and the staff constantly struggles to hear us when we call. This used to be so flexible before. When it was snowing the other day, it took them an hour and a half to deliver. When we called they said they contacted everyone to but they didn't call us. It's constantly a hussle to order. Pff.
Went in store to Ardersier around 8:30pm all the kebab meats was cut in trays and in the heaters not they bays... just drying out there was no other customers in the store, around 5 members of staff who clearly saw me and didnt acknowledge me at all. After waiting around 5 mins I asked politely to be served. She nodded and didnt serve me I then asked can I make an order she said yes and walked off after waiting 15 mins I walked out! I find this place completely rude and will never visit again
